I hated Strata, each time we ventured into London it smirked at us as we drove by. Every attempt to climb it ended with the same wailing siren of ‘You Lose’. Over the years the furthest i had made it was the ninth floor when situations out of my control had forced us to leave. [...]
| So here with have the Heron Tower, a new skyscraper for London’s financial district. With a height of 230m upon completion, 202m excluding the spire it is now the second highest building in the United Kingdom (1 Canada Square still retaining 1st place) Theres not much to say about Adelaide House, its a superb, chilled out rooftop to sit atop on a clear night sky and take in panoramic views of the Thames and London. Recommended. Another towerblock located in the city of London. Currently awaiting demolishion to be replaced with a newer, smaller building, 20 Fenchurch stands at around 33 floors high with superb panoramic views of london and the bank district. Our target for the night was the new Electron development over in east London. To be more precise the 4th tower.. Currently the last one to be completed with the first two already holding occupants. Electron tower stands at roughly 30 floors high but sits in a perfect location over looking the docks, the dome [...] Pan Peninsula, Tower One. Located on the Isle of Dogs in London it is currently around 48 floors high, three mamoth cranes erected to construct it. |
