| Probably the biggest mission we have ever undertaken. Countless attempts, lots of research into possibilites around 6 trips and countless cheeky bonuses we were in! Described as “The one internationally recognised Scottish landmark”. At 2.5 km in length, with three 340 ft cantilever structures, several mammoth spans and foundations constructed under compressed air the Forth bridge is not to be taken lightly. At its peak, approximately 4,600 workers were employed in its construction and by the time the Prince of [...] Once more we venture off up into the clouded skies of London. With unmatched views from anywhere else publicly accessible, abandoned tower blocks and construction sites are always the best place to sneak a peak at our nations skyline, especially at night. A complete gem of a site. Located in London, near Kings Cross station it was once a luxury hotel but eventually closed due to a lack of patronage, retaining some use as offices for Network Rail. St Pancras boasts two iconic towers including a stunning clock-tower and still contained its original rail terminal within its [...] |
