It will come as no surprise that exploring can be dangerous, there are risks in almost every location we visit. Some are fairly insignificant from potential cuts to bruises, but others can be fatal. Be that falling from height, drowning, getting hit by moving objects, you name it. But we protect ourselves from these risks with common sense, we know the limits of our abilities and what we can and can’t do safely. Trust the feeling in your gut, if it doesn’t feel right, then don’t do it. You will only end up getting hurt if you do.

I’ve always been in two minds when it comes to London and the buildings that now inhabit it. While being a fine display of Victorian, Edwardian and Tudor architecture, London has hit, in my opinion, somewhat of a speed bump in recent years. Giant glass and concrete eyesores have been sprouting up all over the capital, each seemingly inspired by fruit, vegetables and items that have likely melted in the sun.

It always feels good to leave England, especially when adventure is on the cards. Don’t get me wrong, I love England, lived here my whole life and some of the best places I’ve visited are here. But Europe (In the British sense of the word) just feels better. The experience as a whole, the countries, culture, cuisine, all come with a freedom that you just don’t get here. You don’t instantly feel suffocated by the local political or legal system, something which I personally am always happy to leave behind.

Its been a while since I last updated the site, personal and legal issues have prevented this, a mentally and physically enforced writers block. I’d like to say that was the only reason, but it isn’t, bottom line is I haven’t really had anything noteworthy to write about. Now don’t misunderstand, I’m not saying I don’t have locations to write about, believe me I do, but the stories behind them or the pictures that resulted have been seen or heard before, nothing special. In my mind.

There isn’t much that can be said about the Brooklyn Bridge. Actually, that’s a lie, there are pages and pages of potential tidbits that could be reeled off in this situation, however nothing that wasn’t said in the recent Manhattan Bridge adventure. As such i will keep this brief.

Its fair to say within exploration a great deal of what is accomplished is down to luck. Are the cameras being monitored the moment you dash past? Did Granny Baggins glance up from her knitting as you climbed the fence? Was that suspicious pedestrian actually an undercover cop? Unfortunately there is no way of knowing until its too late, a series of uncontrollable factors you must push to the back of your mind if you want to proceed. As Dsankt infamously put it, grit your teeth and ”roll the dice”.
