An impenetrable fortress, one with no time for the doubters and naysayers. Protected by many hotels, embassies and the rich.
It wasn't going to be easy

After coming up from the south to do a few new attraction to the north we found that we had a bit of free time and as it was nearby we decided to hit up Billinge Hospital. From the looks of it the main part was a maternity hospital. Not to mention signs and objects we found inside proved it. Visited with The Riddlers and BenWRX

We parked up out of sight from nosy people kitted up and headed in. We had a lot of difficulty finding a way into the buildings as it was very well boarded and secure. We decided to head up onto the roofs to see if there was a way in up there. A bit of looking around and we still was having no luck. Across the road we saw a police car looking straight at us...crap. We made haste back along the roof to our climbing point and just before we got down we saw the car again screech round to corner. We hit the deck as it drive within 5 meters below us. We listened. The engine had switched off. After a few moments it turned back on. He had stalled :). He turned around and headed off.

By this time Ridd's who had climbed down the other side had found a way in. The inside was very battered, with clear evidence of kids and pikeys coming in to break things and steal the copper. We worked our way up the floors taking photos here and there.

We looked outside the window to see the security guard messing around in his car in the hospitals car park. Doing wheels spins and handbreak turns. Glad to see they were doing a good job.

Up onto the roof to take in the view of the surrounding area then back down into the smaller sections of the hopsital. We passed through a new chapel which turned out very boring and several patient rooms and changing rooms. By now it was getting late so we headed out and back to the car to prepare for tomorow.
