Our quest continued. With little choice in where to look, we headed back to the drains we failed to access prior. Our extra efforts were not in vain!		.....


Its irritating when you know something exists, but you've no idea where to start looking. Even London once contained three such features. Pt.1		.....

Another good night of drains all around. I have been wanting to get to Birmingham for a while now but kept being sidetracked. Well this weekend i put my foot down i was going no matter what!. Unfortunately the usual suspects were busy so it looked like i was going it alone. Luckily got a message from Bubblehead who was game. We were charging the lasers and were ready to go, off to the Megabus!

We had four sites we wanted to get down. The River Rea, the Baptizer, Moonwalker and Crystal Phallus. I arrived in Birmingham around 6ish and after meeting with Bubblehead we headed to our first target. The River Rea.

Having seen photos on 28days of amazing arches and sweeping tunnels i was slightly disappointed when we found out... that was it, that one chamber. Kept thinking to myself "Wheres the beef?". We took a few photographs and progressed on. We came to a side entrance where the tunnel led to a old disused culvert with metal sheeting blocking the end. A bit further down the culvert ended so we went back to the car.
