Our quest continued. With little choice in where to look, we headed back to the drains we failed to access prior. Our extra efforts were not in vain!   .....

After stocking up on some drinks and some dirty Mc'donalds we headed down to our next destination. A small and uneventful tunnel known as Mistaken Identity. Although it was a nice brick tunnel with a vaulted ceiling id seen hundreds like it before so didn't even feel like getting the camera out. 10 minutes later the tunnel resurfaced. It was surprising just how deep the channel was almost 3-4 meters so getting in and out would be impossible without a ladder.

We eventually came to the outfall of The Baptizer, named so due to its most potent feature. It started as a large brick block shaped tunnel which eventually split into three, each pipe heading down under the Baptizer and up the other side. Getting past was going to be a bitch as the floor was uneven and the water was wader over flowingly deep and cold!. It wouldn't be a problem if there was a high ceiling but the fact you have to crouch down as well as standing on tippy toes made it a problem. Half way through i had a horrible image of doing an otter dive straight into it recreating the events at macro. We eventually came out the other side and headed towards Moonwalker.
