Well who can say that they have explored a Nuclear Research Lab?. Well we can!, with thanks to Peroxide for the lead we shall return!. ..

Our first colliery we have explored, and I have to say it was amazing. With four headstocks, Railway intact and winding rooms it was a top explore. ..

It felt good to be above ground again, and this was the perfect site to begin again with. It was huge and had loads of features to boot!. ..

First stop for us after the recce of lancaster moor.

Upon arrival we saw 6 chavs driving around the car park to whittingham two got out and into another car and drove off. It was obvious they had been smashing the place up. Pricks. Because of this as soon as we got into the buildings security looking for the kids saw us and shouting " Oi come back here". Easy to say we ran sooo fast over the broken floor which was fully of cracks and holes. All of which radioman just vaulted across. We got outside the fence and hid in the woods. Snce we had to get up a muddy hill many people kept sliding around include D.kitten.

We took it in turns to go up to the road and look at the current activity of the security. Alias went first and when he returned he told us there was 2 security van and 2 police cars one of which was a dog unit. All unlocked and empty which meant they were inside the buildings. After severall more trips up and back they had left. So in we went. And straight up the watertower which was very different to the others I had seen very american if you ask me,

The tower had a great view of the entire asylum and the surrounding grounds.

Down we went and back into the main buildings. This was the first time I had actually been up a clock tower as before I had either not bothered of was caught before. The asylum itself was in a ok state. A fair bit of damage but not so much you couldnt make the place out.

The main hall and other areas was pretty much in tack which I was greatly please about! I really did enjoy this asylum one of the main reasons was we had Radioman with us who knew everything about this place from top to tale, so we were getting the unofficial tour. On the way round I found some xrays which I unfortuantly had to leave.

Apparantly noone had ever done Whittingham chapel before so we made that our next destination. Access was pretty easy although no obvious. Inside was a failry sorry site. Workmen had taken a buzzsaw to all the seat which lay in piles of different pieces the rest was intact however

A great way to end a asylum.
