Located in south croydon near the old airport. Horizons school was built for people with learning difficulties primarily the blind. As croydon is a bit of a rough area the school is completly trashed beyond all recognition. And i mean everything windows, floors, pipes the lot.

It was still fairly interesting and as it had no security it was a nice little chilled walk through on a sunday afternoon.

Visited with The Riddlers last year. Not to much to talk about really, once over the fence we had to step carefully over the piles of trash everywhere. Once in we headed straight for the main hall. It wasnt in too bad a condition considering what the rest of the building was like. And had its own viewing gallery with theatre lights still attached.

Back down we headed along to the workshops and classrooms. Not alot in here but a few bits and pieces such as old school uniforms and the usual things you would expect to find in a school.

The most notable feature with Swaylands would be the roof, Large curved peaks which would be perfect to ride if it wasnt for the fear of falling off and into god knows what!.
