Middleton is the only underground limestone mine in the UK. Situated in outskirts of Derbyshire there is only one thing to say about it, its huge. ..

Its a tunnel, it runs underneath london for a few hundred meters. Its wet, theres nothing in it. Good fun then?. Meh probably i guess. ..

From the darkest depths of the Stockholm metro comes a tale of downright stupidity. This is the last time i listen to someone who was born in Sweden ..

A complete gem of a site!. Located in london near Kings Cross station it was one a luxury hotel but later closed down and was used for offices for the rail network. St Pancras boasts several towers including a stunning clocktower and still contains features from when it was used as a rail terminal.

It is currently being renovated to be turned into a 5 star hotel.

The Midland Grand was a bit of a tough site to crack as it was a 24 hour work site it was swarmimg with builders which proved a little ermm problematic.

Visited with Oxygen Theif, Stumpy, The Riddlers, Sick and later returning with Snappel.

We had split up into two groups myself and sick in one and the rest in the other and took it in turns to slide in and through the door. We waited a little while then followed. Opened the door and crap!. We came face to face with a worker on the other side who just starred at us.

Builder: "How did you get in here?"

Sick: "We were let in at the back gate"

Builder: "Why did you not use the front"

Sick: "They wernt answering the bell"

Builder: "Wheres you uniform and hard hat?"

Sick: "In the lockers were just going to get them now"

Builder: "You best hurry as if the foreman catchs you youll be in trouble"

And with that he walked off, We looked at each other gobsmacked about how we had just got away with that blatent lie!. We headed up a ladder and out into the courtyard. And under instruction from OT who was watching a few levels above us we made our way across and into the grand staircase.

Wow this was amazing, a fine piece of victoran work. Long dual sweeping wooden staircases wrapped around the walls and meeting in the middle at each level before finally stopping at the top giving way to the arched ceiling with fantastic paintwork and decor. We met up with the other group who were about to leave, they gave us a few pointers on where everything was then we said our goodbies.

We headed up towards the first tower. This was huge easily the biggest tower space wize i had been in. As we slowly worked our way up the wooden ladders we came to a hatch at the top and flung it open. The cool night air swept over us as we took in the views of london and the new station. We saw our next objective. The clock tower and after a few pictures were headed down and along.

Once through the door we headed up the metal staircase and enterd into the four faces tower. After photographing the clock device we headed out onto the balconies for a few night shots and pictures of the clock faces.

The sun was now begining to rise so we headed downstairs and slid out.

Top that!
