An impenetrable fortress, one with no time for the doubters and naysayers. Protected by many hotels, embassies and the rich.
It wasn't going to be easy

The first, and last time I will ever attempt a pano this big at night. A total
of 7 hours shooting, 42 spent rendering and 18 editing, its finally done!

So here we are, back in the UK. With nothing on the cards for Europe its time to catch up on the backlog, starting with the London Olympic Stadium ..

Should have done it sooner as it is very close to me just a hours drive down the motorway, but kept putting it off.

After watching How high the night before we got up at 7 an set off to find the place. A few phone calls later and a hours drive and we were there.

This place is boarded to complete buggery. Making it really hard to get into anything. Except the mechanics part which were dead easy. Inside there were massive bolt croppers which the pikies must have left in a hurry. Most of the boilers and machinery is still intact but has taken a large beating from the elements.

We decided to leave the tower as while climbing tanks foot went clean through the floor.

After around 30 mins later after a bit more walking around looking for bits of interest, we heard load shouting but couldnt see anyone we come out of a hedge to see a black dressed man walking quickstep towards us. Since it was early we stayed put. Turns out it was the HM Prison service training their dogs to track down and attack inmates attempting to run. good thing we didnt. He said stay south so we did.

Our last stop for the day was the main hall, We found a open window and were in, Very damaged with drawings and paint everywhere, not to mention nothing at all left in the projection room.

All in it it was ok. We did find a massive ward block which might be a nurses home in the very very back which is worth a look
