My local rock bar. The Cartoon located in Croydon was the place i spent many a friday night drinking away my time and listening to pretty crap bands. A few of my mates bands played there as well so it was quite a thrill to get back inside once it closed.

Visited with Just Ben

I didnt even know it had closed but thanks to a accidental stumble upon by lesbub within a few minutes we were inside and on the bar floor. Being a fairly small club there wasnt too much to see. Although most of the stage lighting was still there as was the bar which was still stocked with drink, not only that the taps still produced cider when pulled!. Ace!. We spent a few moments wondering around thinking about old times and taking photos before we headed downstairs into the office.

Lots of stuff remained here. Old awards, debt notices, stacks and stacks of bands demo cds hoping to be the next hit. And not only that a drum. We spent ages looking through all the bits other would cool junk before heading out and shutting the door behind us for the final time.
