A recent find from the 28days community. Located on the same path as St Andrews, Bow. St Clements was another one of the pretty buildings that didnt really meet the expectations it was given. Since Clements is formed of 4 seperate buildings we only managed to gain access to one.
Clements was a multi religious hospital and all the emergency signs were written in several languages.
After climbing over the crazy spiked fence in the pouring rain we began looking for a way in. Fresh boarding was all over the place so we knew it had only recently been closed down. 20 minutes passed and we still hadnt got in. We were thinking of giving up when we gave one last look. Luckily we found a way. So we got out our cameras and started snapping away.
There was a fair ammount of beds in the place as well as boxes of "bed restraints" hanging from the walls! Our main aim was the clock tower in the middle so we headed into the admin section to try and find away up. We found a large split staircase and pillar room in the reception with led up to the doorway to the tower. We took a few photos and headed up.
Half way up we heard a whirring noise. What was that?. We opened a door to find that the hospital server was still fully operational. Up we continued to the tower to find that the clock device had been removed and there was nothing left. You couldnt even see the faces from the inside. Bit of a let down.
Back down we went and began to head back to our entrance, A few more pictures then we left. It then suddendly chucked it down with rain. So we got drenched on the way back to the car.
All in a days fun.
