During the “L” word road trip we had three sites which were kept as “wildcards”. I .e, if something should go horribly wrong anywhere else, such as no access or it was demolished we could use these as a place to fall back on. This is one of those wildcards.

Beringen mine, my most loathsome and hated site from our entire Belgium road trip. Placed here more as a record then anything else. The day was cold and wet, the site crawling with vandals and photonerds shooting their latest model with a cheeky nipple out.

Its a train graveyard, dont really know what else to say.

One of the many abandoned theatres in Brussels, Varia was cold and emotionless, its concrete shell unforgiving and unwelcoming. The better parts tucked away behind its stage and foyer.
