I know I said the last post would be the final nostalgic / retrospective story, but I lied. The overall plan to return to a normal service is still underway and whats been written for future updates does indeed reflect this, just think of this as a one time special to get some different content off my chest.

I’ve been exploring for almost seven years now, others I know longer than that, yet I’ve never been the recipient of hatred as a result of something we’ve explored. Sure I’ve received the occasional angry email from those concerned with the fact we’re putting ourselves at risk, not to mention the effect this could have on others should something go wrong, but nothing too serious. Most, if not all accept that what we do can be dangerous, sometimes illegal and acknowledge the fact that we’ve accepted these risks while trying not to inconvenience anyone.

Those who have met me know I hate the heat, with a passion. Summer to me is an unending nightmare, constant heat day and night with no escape outside diving headfirst into water or a freezer. Like a snowman if left exposed for too long i melt, my enthusiasm escaping like water down a drain. That’s why i live in London, its never sunny and always cold, we don’t get summer. Perfect. As such the last place you would expect to find me is the polar opposite of this, a desert. There are only two things capable of convincing me to visit such a place, one, a million dollar house with a pool, the other, an aircraft boneyard boasting over 200 planes in all shapes and sizes. Needless to say this story isn’t about the house.

D.I.Y, become a god in three easy steps. The Horror Labs, Also known as The Veterinary School Of Anderlecht. Unique doesn’t come close to explaining this place, buried deep in the basements of a seemingly innocent building remains a lab befitting that of Dr Frankenstein. Intestines, heads, hearts everything a budding mad scientist needs to create his or her very own monster. Currently under development, the horror labs is the last surviving building of the Anderlecht complex.

Its a train graveyard, dont really know what else to say.

Frequently exploring in London, i often used to pass these while commuting to the nights adventure. Resting just west of Shoreditch, sits a series of abandoned 83 Stock tube carrages which once saw use on the Jubilee line. Oddities that you cant help but climb to investigate.
