The night was coming to a close, the sun teasing the horizon. Much like vampires sunlight is detrimental to a tunnel rats health. It was no longer safe for us to roam the streets, our playtime atop the structures of Paris over. We retreated back to the underground, our safe haven to wait out the day where light cannot find us.

Ever wondered just how it is you get your power, your water, your gas? Probably not, most people don’t, many only taking interest when something goes wrong, a short-out killing their xbox, ruining their chances of ”pwning newbs”. But for those who do care, which i assume is the reason your here, take note.

Ever since visiting the Pimlico Steam tunnel a few years ago ive always wanted to do more tunnels of the underwater variety, and after stumbling across a article reviewing two which had recently undergone a mass clean I thought that would be a good place to start. I met up with my friend and we headed off into the snow, of to the mega pollutant that is London. We briefly stocked up on supplies and food and headed over to our entrance.

A truly accidental find. Myself and Alias were originally looking for the illusive drains of Portsmouth when he suddenly shouted “what the hell is that”. I parked up in a nearby road and we headed over to what appeared to be a large bore hole.
