Saint Martin, in my opinion the most famous of the parisian ghost stations. It had haunted my dreams for over three years since my last visit. I had come so close, a small glimpse through a keyhole the only reward for the nights efforts, but tonight was the night. Finally after several years of browsing pictures and reports, it was my turn to visit!

The word epic. Its been floating around the internet for a while now and is generally used for something that is a level above the rest. But recently its become a bit overused, people seem to dish it out like free copies of the metro. Its everywhere and to be honest has lost its meaning. So the dilemma, with the word epic seemingly pointless and out of commission what do you call the top level places now?

D.I.Y, become a god in three easy steps. The Horror Labs, Also known as The Veterinary School Of Anderlecht. Unique doesn’t come close to explaining this place, buried deep in the basements of a seemingly innocent building remains a lab befitting that of Dr Frankenstein. Intestines, heads, hearts everything a budding mad scientist needs to create his or her very own monster. Currently under development, the horror labs is the last surviving building of the Anderlecht complex.

Described as “The one internationally recognised Scottish landmark”.

At 2.5 km in length, with three 340 ft cantilever structures, several mammoth spans and foundations constructed under compressed air the Forth bridge is not to be taken lightly. At its peak, approximately 4,600 workers were employed in its construction and by the time the Prince of Wales hammered the final rivet in on the 4th march 1890 almost 100 workers had died and over 500 had been injured.

Colossus of the south. A major storm and drain network located in Brighton which is built on two levels. The main and older section above containing the sewers and storm relief’s. The lower level being a 3km storage tunnel buried more then 100ft beneath Brighton’s coast. The two networks are linked together via a “Glory hole”, a monster plughole known as “Eddies Vortex” which drops the flow down into the storage tunnel.

Ever wondered just how it is you get your power, your water, your gas? Probably not, most people don’t, many only taking interest when something goes wrong, a short-out killing their xbox, ruining their chances of ”pwning newbs”.
