There isn’t much that can be said about the Brooklyn Bridge. Actually, that’s a lie, there are pages and pages of potential tidbits that could be reeled off in this situation, however nothing that wasn’t said in the recent Manhattan Bridge adventure. As such i will keep this brief.

While the Brooklyn Bridge may not have the best views in New York City, there’s no denying it is easily the most famous of its river spanning structures. Construction of the Brooklyn began in 1870 and lasted for 13 years before opening to traffic on the 24th May, 1883 at the cost of $15.3 million and 27 lives.

Fueled by the tradition pitcher at the “P” the climb was short and sweet, our stay at the top brief, but we achieved what we had set out to accomplish and returned to the ground unscathed. You couldn’t ask for more than that.
