For me this was the end of the line, the trains sliding doors were open and we were at my stop. With the driver signaling he was about to depart i stepped off, the small taste of the London underground unforgettable. Thankfully however the final stop just so happened to be the deepest station London ever built, the perfect way to end!
North End station aka Bull And Bush, the station that never was. Bull and Bush was built between Hampstead and Golders Green but the project was abandoned halfway after the lower parts had been constructed. During this time no surface access was possible and was later added in the 1950′s with a staircase and a manual lift.
I think its safe to say none of the abandoned stations of London would have been possible was it not for the steely balls of Siologen finally giving it the first crack. If i owned a hat i would certainly tip it to you sir, and anyone else involved. For now we look past the tracks of London, we have a more Parisian taste in mind.
